Eight years on.
One hundred miles.
Meg came to Nathan wanting to lose weight. Eight years later she has multiple ultra marathons behind her and a 100 mile finish at Ultra-Trail Australia. In her own words.
Training most days, and slowly gaining.
My goal was to lose weight. I would go to the gym most days and I would try to eat healthy, but I was not losing weight. In fact I was slowly putting weight on.
I was part of Nathan’s team doing Oxfam in 2018, and after completing Oxfam I could already see some of the benefits of doing a different style of training. I officially started training with him after that event.
No one size fits all.
Nathan doesn’t have a “one size fits all” coaching style. He works out a programme specifically for me, and he helps me adjust my nutrition based on what works best for me.
Weight off, and a whole sport gained.
I lost weight. I improved my fitness and strength, and my nutrition. I definitely improved my running performance. I have completed multiple ultra marathon trail running events.
I spend my weekends out hiking or trail running. I love having the energy to easily complete a 20 odd kilometre run on the weekends.
The UTA miler.
I am proud of lots of achievements, but the one I’m most proud of is completing my 100 mile ultra at UTA this year.
Happier and healthier than I’ve ever been.
Having Nathan as my coach means it’s easy to stay fit and healthy. I’m happier and healthier than I’ve ever been.
Definitely.
I would definitely recommend Nathan’s coaching, because he takes the time to get to know his clients and he provides a programme and advice that truly helps.
